BioWare talks Dragon Age: The Veilguard's exploration, photo mode
With Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s October release looming ever closer, developer BioWare continues its slow and steady stream of blog-sized info-nuggets and teases – this time revealing a little about exploration, alongside news of a photo mode.
As detailed in BioWare’s latest blog post, The Veilguard will give players the opportunity to visit and explore places around Thedas that series veterans may have “heard whispers [of] in the past”. These include Arlathan Forest, Hossberg Wetlands, Minrathous, Rivain, and Treviso – and all get their own little video tours in BioWare’s post if you’re curious to see more.

Silent Hill 2 Remake will feature the option to remove all UI elements and add on a “90s filter”.
Developer Bloober Team confirmed the news in a recent X/Twitter post, revealing that the 90s filter includes grain effect, colour correction, and screen adjustments for that “old-school experience”… even though Silent Hill 2 released in 2001.

Nintendo has released another trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, giving us our first look at the princess embracing her inner-Link, and wielding a sword and shield.
On the game’s release, Zelda will find a mysterious sword hidden within the lands of Hyrule, which will allow her to transform into her sword fighting form. She will be able to fend off enemies and clear obstacles that block her path. However, while certainly handy, this form isn’t permanent, and Zelda will need to replenish the sword by collecting energy for it from the Still World.
